Job Description

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager (Application Support) to lead a team supporting, debugging and improving the functionality and performance of mission-critical applications and systems.  

What you will be involved with as a Service Delivery Manager at OpenBet: 

  • Leading a team of 6-8 Support Engineers in delivering a critical Application Management Service 

  • Line management of individual Support Engineers 

  • Escalation point for high priority incidents or operational issues 

  • Production of regular SLA & other performance reporting to internal & customer stakeholders 

  • Management of rota schedule to cover core trading hours and on-call pattern 

Qualifications

If you are the right Service Delivery Manager for us, you'll be able to demonstrate: 

  • Experience in an Application Management Services role, with proven record of driving service improvement and SLA success 

  • Experience of line management of Application Support Engineers 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken 

  • Technical Software Development or Support background 

  • Thorough understanding of JIRA workflows and reporting 

  • Good grasp of ITIL best practice 

The ideal candidate would also have the following skills/experiences: 

  • Experience of Microsoft Development stack, .NET/C# & MS SQL 

  • Understanding of Retail PoS systems 

  • Knowledge of sports and lottery betting.
