In a nut shell, we’re a gaming technology business that has a massive data asset with the ability to use it in a B2B2C context.  We lead the industry in providing online gaming, sports, and iLottery technology solutions, which enable the world’s largest gambling companies to deliver player experiences all over the world.  But we don’t just do tech, we also run several "Game Studios", developing online slot and table games, delivered through an integrated platform offering >4K games to our customers. 

With a database capturing >30BN online Casino transactions from 18M Players per year, our business is lucky to have a broad, yet granular view of how players interact with different games, across the world.  This uniquely powerful data asset has huge potential to create significant value internally and externally and is seen by the board as a key strategic growth driver but has yet to be fully utilised.

We’re searching far and wide for the best commercial-thinking, data story-telling, inspirational insight leader we can find to be the catalyst for our business to become player-insight driven. Leading a small team, the role combines hands-on ownership and delivery of key strategic projects, leading relationships with the board and senior stakeholders, whilst managing and coaching junior team members.

The successful candidate will be the key data evangelist in our business, responsible for ensuring we realise value from the cutting-edge insight and science capability we’re developing.  Key responsibilities include: 

  1. Leading relationships with key stakeholders in the UK, Europe and US, including EVPs, focusing on the Casino Commercial Team in particular, providing transparency on priorities and tracking progress 


  1. Translating insight from dashboards / reports into actionable, value-generating commercial recommendations and driving implementation through key stakeholders - the candidate will be tasked with tracking the overall impact of the data team and regularly communicating this to CXOs 


  1. Scoping bespoke strategic insight projects and managing end-to-end delivery, utilising data insight and science resources 


  1. Increasing the use of data internally ensuring we develop relevant insight tools, aligned to key decision making processes and collaborating with the L&D team to create relevant training courses / materials 


  1. Establishing and maintaining collaborative external data-driven relationships with key customers (e.g. Skybet, Flutter, Entain) that enable better decision making and a test / learn culture, as well as innovation in our approach to launching new content 


  1. Driving the thought leadership agenda for capability development roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Data Science, by building up in-depth knowledge of both the data sources we have access to and how the business operates 

We’re putting the most weight on relationship management and data story telling skills and the interview process will include a task designed to give candidates the opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities. The successful candidate will be articulate, direct, not afraid of delivering bad news, as well as good, regardless of who it’s to and feel energised working in a fast-paced commercial environment, solving problems on the fly, with passion for?delivering results and driving change.? Ambition, drive and proactivity are key ingredients that will enable the right candidate to succeed and achieve personal and professional growth. 

The role will be the main point of contact with our Reginal Commercial teams and attend external meetings with Key Customers where we’re trying to become more data-driven and demonstrate the full benefits of using our platform.  Managing internal stakeholders through providing visibility of requested projects and collaboratively managing the workload, including aligning on problem definition and expected deliverables up front, is an essential part of the role.  


  • 5+ years insight experience - data consultancy / agency and client-side both relevant - experience in industries dealing with customer data, are beneficial 

  • Leading large consulting projects with senior business stakeholders 

  • Translating complex data, into simple insights and actionable recommendations 

  • Presenting insights back to stakeholders and influencing decisions 


  • Able to define analytical problems and relevant, robust solutions 

  • Advanced Excel user plus PowerBI useful but not essential 

  • Genius in using PowerPoint to communicate potentially complex insights in simple ways 

  • Clear, impactful, influential presentation skills 

  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively 

  • Good coach who nurtures young talent and develops future leaders 

  • Solid coding skills - SQL, SAS or similar programming language advantageous but not essential  


  • Highly numerate and passionate about using data to drive change 

  • Natural relationship builder, who quickly builds trust and maintains it through consistent, high quality delivery 

  • Results-driven, focused on making an impact and seeing solutions driving change 

  • Team-player and leader - spends time sharing knowledge and skills and looking out for others

  • Creative, capable of thinking around problems and defining innovative solutions

  • Happy to make mistakes but always looks to learn from them and do it better next time
