Job Description

As Casino Studio Director you will have considerable experience working in creative industries and can demonstrate success launching and managing of games or creative product across global markets.  The candidate requires a deep understanding of people and process. We are looking for someone to join our team that will ensure a high level of productivity, agility, and is passionate about people. 

 The successful candidate will work closely with partners and internal stakeholders, overseeing the development and production of new games. The must have a passion from creating fun product and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external creative teams.  

We need someone who can think differently about game delivery from a technical, team and delivery perspective. You need to prove you can deliver the highest quality games from multiple teams to over 20 regulated markets on time. The ideal candidate is comfortable with and enjoys solving complex problems, establishing productive workflows and diving into data. 

Our studios create world class first party and second party content supplying the smallest to the largest Operators across international markets. You will be working with exciting brands like Monopoly and Rainbow Riches. Our second party team works with some of the biggest names in gaming.   

 

  • Oversee global teams based in India, Montreal, UK and Athens including Delivery,  Artists, Front End and Backend developers as well as QA. You will work alongside our creative team.  

  • You will be a driving force in our ambition to continuously improve the quality and scalability of our games. 

  • Drive the completion of project goals and facilitate communications, organization, and accountability across all departments. We need to seamless 1st time delivery globally in highly regulated markets. 

  • Drive project kick-off and project assignments; ensure teams are setup for success. 

  • Professional Problem Solver. Identify and fix bottlenecks, as well as clearing roadblocks both on the day-to-day and in the longer term. 

  • Cheerlead. Provide motivation, direction, and improve best practices across all team disciplines. 

  • Work with Legal and Branding regarding contract and rights issues 

  • Develop strong relationships to establish and maintain a reliable and timely flow of information and materials to all parties as necessary. 

  • Identifying and/or selecting quality development partnerships to produce future projects. 

  • Analyze processes and new delivery techniques making the teams efficient but always making the Studios fun place to work. You will be responsible for capacity planning and overall production processes to ensure that the delivery speed and quality bar is consistently met and improved. 

  • Keep all key stakeholders informed of  status and vision through the preparation and presentation of appropriate reports and project materials (including milestone updates, work-in-progress presentations, etc). 

  • A fascination for finding new and better approaches to problems including automation, different tooling etc.  

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in the digital creative industries 

  • Experience and passion for agile development environment  

  • Skill in reviewing and updating processes using techniques like Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma or similar.  

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to transform business and people needs into tangible results, while inspiring and growing the teams, individuals, and processes simultaneously. 

  • Solid experience in implementing Agile-development-based best practices, principles, and methodologies for multidisciplinary teams across multiple complex projects. Keeping producers and projects on point with the company’s development process 

  • Experience of managing the full development cycle, from concept through to a live product 

  • You are detail-oriented with great organizational skills and comfort with ambiguity. 

  • You have the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. 

  • You have experience evaluating operational performance, building forecasts and finding creative solutions to operating constraints. 

  • You are able to work with remote teams and across time zones to foster a cohesive and creative work environment.
