The Business Development & Presales Manager is a system expert with the task of working closely with sales teams and delivery teams to ensure that the SG Digital products being offered can meet new customer requirements. Acts as the subject matter expert to cover activities before the acquisition of the customer however in some cases, the activities may carry on post acquisition to mainly to fill customer engagement responsibilities as the customer transitions into the business as usual phase.
Background of a strong candidate includes the following:
Previous experience working within a technical and customer facing position.
Must be a subject matter expert with extensive software systems experience.
An ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
Previous experience working for a competitor in a similar position would be a strong advantage.
Develop and deliver outstanding SG Digital product and solution presentations and demonstrations
Manage SG Digital participation in customer discovery phases and in RFI & RFP processes, ensuring quality and timely delivery of required materials from contributors across SG Digital
Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying SG Digital product solutions to client business challenges
Support the sales team by providing guidance on solution design and recommended products
Facilitation of customer understanding through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle
Provide field and customer input into the product development process
Build and share industry thought leadership in the software and sports betting domains
Train and handover to customer management to delivery and engagement teams
Work with other consultants in Europe & North America to achieve wider company goals
Competencies, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications
University Degree in a related field
Sports betting and/or Gaming industry knowledge
Customer Relationship Management
Proven ability to maintain high customer satisfaction
Technical capacity with the ability to translate technical language to customers
Experience of using tools such as JIRA & Confluence
Must be resilient and able to work well under pressure
Strong organization, time management and task tracking skills
Strong reporting & presentation & communication skills
